ATLANTA - The International Woodworking Fair Atlanta has established a cooperation agreement with the European Federation of Woodworking Machinery Manufacturers (Eumabois) for the purpose of expanding IWF’s global reach and enhancing its services extended to the European woodworking industry.
Under the cooperation agreement, IWF becomes the sole North American woodworking trade show designated as a Eumabois-supported exhibition. According to a statement by show organizers, IWF and Eumabois collaborative efforts will encompass strategic joint marketing communications initiatives executed for the mutual benefit of their respective customers and constituencies.
Owned jointly by the Wood Machinery Manufacturers of America and Woodworking Machinery Industry Association, the biennial IWF is North America’s oldest and largest global woodworking technology and design trade show and conference. IWF 2022 featured more than 900 exhibitors and 663,000 square feet of exhibit space, spread across more than 1.2 million square feet in the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta. The show produced a registered attendance of 25,524 with registrants drawn from every U.S. state and 92 countries and provinces. The next IWF takes place Aug. 6-9, 2024.
Founded in 1960, Eumabois is a non-profit organization aimed at promoting the European Woodworking Machinery Industry, primarily by bringing together national sectoral associations, but also individual companies without officially appointed bodies. Guided by principles of cooperation, innovation, and technological advancement, the European Federation, whose scope covers more than 800 companies, strives to increase the attractiveness of woodworking machinery and foster its potential along the entire value chain.
