The Panel Assist Stacker from Black Bros. was designed and engineered to be integrated with the company's Panel Express System. The in-line process is the wood industry’s most efficient option for laminating HPL to particleboard or MDF, and with this new machine, tedious back-end labor is now completely automated, the company says.
Simple in design and function, the Panel Assist Stacker features a vacuum-suctioned arm that continuously grabs, guides, and releases freshly-laminated panels into a uniform stack as they exit the system’s heat-assisted rotary laminator. Eliminated is the need for an operator manually stacking the ready-to-cut panels upon completion. Just send the forklift in once ready and move those boards straight into production.
The Panel Assist Stacker has been successfully tested to operate with boards up to 5’x 12’ and performs in conjunction with the Panel Express System’s optimal speed of 30 FPM. It can be ordered with a new machine line or retrofitted to those currently operating in the field. Its simple, one-way movement is made possible with the inclusion of the Black Bros. Laminate Indexing Station, which assures the product is fed into the laminator with repeatable preciseness.
