Cosman is known for his skill around North America, teaching two week-long hand tool training and woodworking courses in Niagara Falls twice a year. He's also behind the Purple Heart Program, which aims to support veterans' mental health by introducting them to the peace and calming effects of traditional hand tool working. Each course is limited to 12 students - six of which are reserved for wounded and disabled veterans. They also attend free of charge.
